​No hand crushing, screening and sorting by hand with our Super Fine Opal grind! It’s the perfect solution for fine line inlays, laser engravings, or filling in around larger opal grinds or other inlay material.
 
Super Fine is the finest grind available at ~ .125 mm or 125 microns (120 mesh screen)—a consistent particle size that adds a seamless, sparkling twinkle to every inlay. Sold in 2 gram jars.
 
Perfect for narrow rings and detailed inlays, it can be rubbed or poured into a void and then set with thin CA glue. Or, mix with an epoxy or UV-cure resin and create a putty to mush into a void. You can use it as a backing filler around larger inlays or by itself. Try a contrasting color around a larger inlay particle to create veining and/or accents.
 
When used in combination with our coarser 2-3 mm grind, Super Fine surrounds and enhances the inlay, leaving no void without a shimmer, and larger-than-usual flares of iridescence.
